Role Purpose:

Provides support to assure the accurate, timely and quality delivery of components to customers.             

Responsibilities:

• Understand all requirements for Personal Protective Equipment, machine guarding, and other safety requirements; and comply with each applicable to position assigned.
• Review all customer guidelines for quality and special conditions for supply of production components. Maintain ongoing understanding of all changes to and/or updates to production processes and customer specifications.
• Complete manufacturing assembly utilizing standardized work, hand tools, and other automated tools. Mechanical aptitude required in discerning customer specs and applying operating instructions.
• Must successfully Pass “Reticulator Operator Theory” Written Test within 2 months of becoming a Reticulator Operator.  The operator has 1 chance to retake a test should they fail.  Maximum Time for testing is 4 months.  Only 2 attempts per person permitted.
• Pratical Test - Meet Hourly Targets for 4 weeks consecutively (Number of Cycles)
• Follow all specified checks on the work order for quality and quantity of units and document accordingly.
• Must be able to learn and complete daily production sheet
• Must be able to provide Reticulator Operator support across 1st and 2nd shifts.  Note that a 1st shift operator will also get the additional 2nd shift pay differential when working on 2nd shift.
• Make SOTs for the Reticulator operation
• Maintain work area to 5S standards for organization, housekeeping and inspection.
• Be actively involved with Continuous Improvement Program and participate in Kaizen events as scheduled.
• Must participate in weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on the reticulators
• When fully qualified this position earns additional compensation. 

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must be able to stand on feet for 8 or more hours.
• Must have ability to use both hands for assembling product.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Basic Computer Skills
• Good Attendance
