Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Treasury, the Senior Treasury Analyst will play an active role in ongoing treasury activities, including cash management, liquidity projections, treasury operations, bank relationship management, cash accounting, short-term investing and payments.
Major Responsibilities and Activities:
- Provide support in all areas of corporate cash management and banking
- Update daily cash flow models and assist with short- term borrowing and investment decisions
- Prepare loan balance reports
- Assist with Audit requests
- Provide coding and support for accounting cash entries
- Coordinate various global electronic payments, utilizing internal and internet-based platforms
- Assist with administration of bank software programs
- Complete various cash flow and balance reports for management reporting
- Manage the company's bank account, signatory and other bank-related documentation
- Participate in preparing bank KYC and ALM documentation as required
- Provide support in managing the intercompany loan portfolio and Promissory Notes
- Assist in administration of FX hedges and spot trades
- Contribute to management of interest rate swaps
- Monitor accuracy of bank fees and interest charges
- Prepare short- term bank loan documents
- Update quarterly financial disclosure reporting for various stakeholders
- Monitor daily cash balances to ensure adequate liquidity, while minimizing debt balances
- Liaise with internal and external business contacts
- Proactively participate in Treasury projects and work towards accomplishing departmental and company strategic objectives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Degree with emphasis on Business Administration / Accounting
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) Preferred
- Accounting Designation preferred or in progress
- Minimum two years’ experience in a Treasury environment
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Knowledge of TM1 An asset
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Detail oriented with focus on accuracy
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, multi-task, deadline-oriented environment
- Manufacturing financial experience would be an asset
