About the role
The student program at Woodbridge provides high-potential students with meaningful opportunities to apply their classroom knowledge in a professional setting, gaining hands-on skills and industry exposure. Woodbridge’s Marketing and External Communications team manages all global marketing and external communications for the company, including marketing, advertising, media relations, branding, and creative development, such as brochures, videos, animations, and infographics. This is a full-time, fixed-term position.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital & Social Communications: Help manage Woodbridge’s website, as well as Zanathane’s global social media channels, including content updates, post creation, and campaign support.
- Marketing Collateral: Update Woodbridge's marketing materials and presentations to ensure the content is accurate and aligns with branding guidelines.
- Media Relations: Assist with writing press releases and media advisories to promote company activities and achievements.
- Project Management: Support the planning and execution of various marketing communication projects (such as presentations, calendars, and events) and processes by working with other internal departments and external vendors.
- Strategic Planning: Assist with the development of marketing plans for various initiatives to build our brand with key external audiences.
- Event Planning: Help in coordinating and managing events and technology exhibitions tailored for customers, ensuring a seamless experience from planning to execution. This includes venue selection, logistics, vendor coordination, attendee engagement, and overall setup to effectively highlight innovative technologies.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with the company’s agency to develop creative assets such as infographics, videos, animations, etc.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Highly professional demeanor with ability and confidence to interface with all levels of the company - including senior leadership.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Experience with managing company social media channels and websites is a plus.
- Bonus skills (not required but a plus): Graphic design, web design, photography, basic HTML, and/or video production/editing
