Woodbridge Holdings has an opening at its wholly owned subsidiary, Woodbridge Corporation, in Lithonia, Georgia, for a Process Manager position. Reduce costs related to scrap through appropriate tracking and analysis. Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures. Optimize operational costs and productivity consistent with regulations. Assist the plant in optimizing the appropriate process chemistry. Monitor and analyze problems using SPC, and other techniques to identify and implement corrective actions, and new launches. Coordinate and assist in sampling activities. Understand HSE & TS16949 procedures and ensure teammates are following procedures. Develop or enforce procedures for normal operation of manufacturing systems. Understand BIC Key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed BIC 75. Understand lean and implement 5S and Kaizens within department. Ensure good communication across shifts, departments. Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs. Participate in problem solving, VSM, Kaizen projects. Implement SOT’s standard work. Audit for standard work, quality, understanding HSE. Work with, train, and supervise new process engineers and technicians. Train, evaluate, discharge, and audit performance on teammates. Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. Position requires at least 2 years of experience (1) with production line (polyurethane) in a molded foam manufacturing environment; (2) monitoring and analyzing problems using SPC; (3) with robotic operations. At least 1 year of this experience must include supervising process engineers and process technicians.
