Overview

We are currently in search for a maintenance team member with a strong electrical background to support a leading automotive molded foam supplier in the Huntsville, AL area. This person will be assigned to 2nd shift after receiving adequate training on 1st shift during a rotation cycle.  As a member of our maintenance team, you will be required to complete general maintenance inspections throughout the day to support operations, perform routine electrical maintenance, respond to robot faults and wiring issues, and install electrical equipment to support both minor and major plant projects. 

To achieve success with Woodbridge, this candidate must have a high-level of problem solving skills, extensive experience working in a fast paced manufacturing setting, good communication and people skills, and ability to multi task.

Maintenance-Electrical Responsibilites:

• Identify faults or hazards
• Troubleshooting system failures and deep understanding of PLCs.
• Programming experience desired.
• Routinely inspecting electrical wiring, fixtures, and electrical devices to maintain an efficient and effective plant.
• Review blueprints to understand wiring placement.
• Testing of electrical systems utilizing basic electrical equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc.
• Providing support to critical faults on the manufacturing floor.
• Assisting the maintenance team to achieve minimum DT relating to maintenance issues by providing sound troubleshooting of electrical issues.
• Providing suggestions for plant electrical improvements.
• Most importantly, adhering to safety and performance standards always.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Electrician certificate
• 10 years of experience as a maintenance member mostly dealing with robotic systems
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems.
• Excellent electrical problem-solving skills as well a high level of mechanical experience.
• Physically able to stand for long periods, climb stairs, and operate forklift.
• Good people skills and team oriented.
