OFFNLINE TEAM LEAD

Role Purpose:

Ensures efficient operation of the office insert online stocking, and demold areas and communicates effectively with process, offline Team Lead, and Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to squat/stand/bend/walk for duration of shift
  • Must be able to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds in a team lift.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a high heat/high humidity, fast paced environment
  • Obtain written and verbal instructions from Supervisor and/or Manager
  • Reports any nonconformance to Supervisor and/or Manager and is proactive in preventing nonconformance
  • Performs daily/weekly Team Lead Standard Work.
  • Verifies material is available for demould and insert lines.
  • Communicates with offline Team Lead to identify and correct line issues.
  • Audit offload conveyor belt to identify and correct issues with pour, insert line, or demould.
  • Fills in when needed for line stocker, online inserters, and demould operators.
  • Ensures SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) are training to the Woodbridge Standard.
  • Audit production schedule daily at beginning of shift.  Report discrepancies to Supervisor.
  • Ensure all team members are present.  Adjust to any openings in line.  Coordinate with Supervisor.
  • Coordinate line breaks with Supervisor.
  • Performs any and all tasks as identified by the Supervisor or Production Manager
  • Follows up on preventive and corrective actions with other teammates
  • Practice and maintain 5s philosophy by maintaining area/equipment clean, well-ordered, and organized
  • Promotes teamwork and cooperation
  • Foster and sustain Teammate Campus cross training in production department
  • Cross training in other positions, as needed
  • Provide leadership in the use and implementation of Lean tools such as the WPS, SPC, VSM, 5S, etc., as well as support and promote the participation of Natural Work Teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of / and compliance with Safety Regulations
  • Dependable with a good attendance record
  • Available to work overtime
  • Computer literate
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Proven ability to communicate in a professional manner with customers and team members
  • Proven self-starter, with demonstrated continuous improvement traits
  • Perform tasks through completion
