Reticulation Chamber
This job description reflects managements’ assignment of essential functions. It does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
Role Purpose
Operate the reticulation chamber effectively to meet production demands while following HS&E practices and customer quality standards.
Responsibilities
The duties of the reticulation operator include, but are not limited to the following:
▪ Obtains a copy of the daily production schedule
▪ Operates the reticulation chamber
▪ Identifies process concerns using problem solving skills
▪ Inspects the foam for post reticulation defects
▪ Loads the reticulation chamber using a squeeze lift
▪ Notifies the production supervisor or team lead of any process concerns
▪ Practice and maintain 5s philosophy by maintaining area/equipment clean, well-ordered, and organized.
▪ Promotes teamwork & cooperation through the use of Lean tools, WPS, TWI, Book Club, 5S, TPM, etc., as well as support and promote the participation of Natural Work Teams.
▪ Perform additional duties as assigned by shift supervisor.
Qualifications
▪ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence& memos and able to write simple correspondence.
▪ Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
▪ Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
▪ To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
▪ Mechanical/ skilled trade experience preferred
Education / Experience
▪ Minimum
▪ Good communication skills, verbal and written.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents and training materials such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions as well as procedure manuals. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills are required.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills required to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers, decimal and fractions.
Reasoning Ability
A successful employee would have the capability to decide the safest and most cost-effective manner to perform daily activities and have the understanding to ask for help or direction on any said function that he or she isn’t completely sure

of. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Equipment Used
ATTENDANCE / Work Schedule
Standard work hours will consist of eight hours per day, five days per week on an assigned shift.
Schedule hours may be altered as required by business conditions. This may be more (or less) than eight hours per day or five days per week. An ability to work overtime or irregular hours to include Saturdays, Sundays and holidays is essential for this position.
1st Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
2nd Shift: 2:15pm – 10:45pm
