ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required. See JSA & PDA for this position for details safety instructions.
- Understand ISO 9001 requirements / the Woodbridge Quality Policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through the Woodbridge Quality Policy.
- Source, quote, order, receiving and management of maintenance parts and equipment from vendors and contractors.
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders and receiving in the ITS system.
- Work with other departments within the facility to establish re-stocking points for MRO items.
- Work with Accounting to reconcile receiving legers for items purchased through the ITS P.O. system.
- Maintain plant downtime and equipment records for the facility.
- Help maintain inventory control of parts and equipment.
- Maintain all contractor and vendor information packets and insurance certificates (part of the HSE Element activities and the INS Vendor system).
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Can be called upon to receive maintenance request and work orders and dispatch maintenance technicians, accordingly, working with the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Keep area neat, organized, and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate.
- Support 5S activities throughout the facility including Kaizen submissions.
- Cross train in other positions as required.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee’s supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May be called upon for limited supervision of the maintenance technicians in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Prefer two-year technical training, Associate’s degree or military training and five years’ experience. A background in Industrial Maintenance would be an added benefit in this position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents and training materials such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills are required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Must have the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations. AutoCAD experience would be an added benefit in this position.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to read and understand mechanical (CAD) drawings.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard work hours will consist of eight hours per day, five days per week on an assigned shift.
Schedule hours may be altered as required by business conditions. This may be more (or less) than eight hours per day or five days per week. An ability to work overtime or irregular hours to include Saturdays, Sundays and holidays may be required for this position.
